Italian Sausage
5-6 large links of mild or hot Italian sausage
1 medium green pepper, cleaned and chopped
1 medium onion, peeled, and chopped
2 tsp. basil or oregano
Pita bread or warmed flour tortillas or wraps.
Remove sausage meat from casings and cook till done; breaking it up as it cooks. Do not brown.
Add green pepper, onion, and spice and cook slowly till veggies are just tender but not mushy.
Serve warm in pita, tortilla wrap, or in a bun/roll.
