Both Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley are fortunate to have very active, progressive and enthusiastic entreprenuers that are opening up franchise businesses.
These businesses bring quality products and proven business formulas in addition to employing local residents and investing in the local economy.
Last Friday I attended the grand opening of a new franchise - Image Sun Tanning Center located at 2230 S. 77 Sunshine Strip, Suite 200 in Harlingen. It is located next to Jason's Deli.
Image Sun is a national franchise with about 100 locations across the nation.
It is a beautiful facitliy with state-of-the-art equipment and a fun atmosphere.
I had assumed that the age group of the "tanners" would be very young, however Image Sun actually caters to the professional working woman.
What I was most impressed with was the local franchise owner Sylvia Hilmy.
Sylvia's positive outlook and real desire to bring a much needed updated approach to indoor tanning is a breath of fresh air.
Best wishes to Sylvia and her crew at Image Sun. Their future is bright!!!
