Joe attended his first professional sporting event at nine months old and has never stopped. From baseball and basketball to football, soccer, hockey and more, his voice has carried games via TV, radio and internet for thousands of fans for a solid 20 years plus. Known most for his rapid fire play-by-play style he has also enjoyed success in sports writing and photography. When not at a sporting event Joe will most likely be walking the beach or casting a line. A father of four daughters; now enjoying life here in the Valley and getting the chance to use his talents and experience in sports media.

The Golden Eagles of Hanna scored in the opening minutes of their state semifinal game with Alief Elsik, and that lone goal was all they needed for the win and a chance to play in the 5A championship game Saturday in Georgetown.

The Hidalgo baseball squad has been one of the best in the Valley all season, but the Pirates didn't acheive their 1st goal of the season, making the playoffs, until shutting out the Bobcats in Rio Hondo.
