About KGBT
KGBT-TV Channel 4 is known as "Action 4 News" to the people of the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
The CBS affiliate was founded in the 1940s by the Tichenor family of Harlingen but is now owned by the Illinois-based Barrington Broadcasting Group.
KGBT currently has two broadcasts on its digital TV signal - CBS/Local Programming (English) as well as Mexicanal/Local Programming (Spanish).
